The beans were a Colombian honey process from @beanwise , and from the moment I started grinding, the aroma felt warm and inviting—subtle sweetness layered with a gentle citrus lift.

I kept the recipe simple: medium-fine grind, short bloom, followed by a steady press. The extraction felt smooth, almost effortless—one of those brews where everything just falls into place.

In the cup, it was beautifully balanced. Honeyed sweetness upfront, soft and rounded, followed by a delicate citrus brightness that kept the cup lively. As it cooled, the deeper notes emerged—hazelnut and milk chocolate, giving it a creamy, comforting finish that lingered just enough.
