This cup was worth the run

One of my best finds from Chiang Mai— @akhaamacoffee . I almost ran into the café at the very end of my trip, ordered a cup, and ended up staying for the conversation. The warmth of the space, the people, the vibe—it all stayed with me.

Today, I finally brewed one of the beans I brought back. A gentle pour-over, slow and intentional. The aroma opened up bright and citrusy, and the cup followed with beautiful clarity—pomelo upfront, soft persimmon sweetness, and a delicate berries tea finish. Clean, expressive, and quietly complex.

Some coffees remind you why you fell in love with the craft. This was one of them.
